This action learning format is a 3-4 hour program that has creativity, fun, a healthy balance of cooperation and competition, and a final ceremony that will have everyone laughing, learning, and cheering. Large groups are divided into smaller acting troupes' of 25-35. Following specifically laid out guidelines and time parameters, they confront the task of difficult learning including planning and execution as a group.

Each team is given ample props and resources and a performance arts coach/facilitator to help facilitate their process. Each team has about 1 1/2 hours to brainstorm a 5 minute 'play' that will be performed in front of the entire group. Themes can include very humorous 'why work at (company)', commercials for company product, employee orientation, to specific goals and mission statements.

Teams must rapidly figure out how to break down into smaller groups of set design, costume design, writers, actors, directors, stage coordinators and create their performance. All teams return to perform their 5 minute play for the rest of the group WAY OFF BROADWAY allows the group to encounter DIFFICULT LEARNING by having them progress through a stage of initial confusion that is very 'messy at first, but with facilitator assistance in the direction of focus, fun, and being creatively 'open', it evolves into a high synergy team success! Of course, company 'TONYS' are given out at the end!
